If you grabbed the globe and shook it to death The terrorists of the world to flush out Billions of innocents'd take their last breaths But the evildoers'd hang on, no doubt And then there would be no target for them They would sit around with nothing to do They'd have no infidels left to condemn And global terrorism would be through Just maybe there's a less extreme approach To achieving our nation's objective: First find out why they hold us in reproach Then consider their worldly perspective? We might find ways to reduce the hatred If we put ourselves in their shoes instead. |
