WISDOM IS

Wisdom is . .
. . doing something before you have to do it.

Wisdom is . .
. . knowing you might do the very same thing if you were in their shoes.

Wisdom is . .
. . realizing the truth is generally 180 degrees from where everybody says it is.

Wisdom is . .
. . knowing that things often turn out exactly the opposite of how you intended, and figuring out why they do in advance so they'll turn out the way you want them to instead.

Wisdom is . .
. . taking a balanced, dispassionate view.

Wisdom is . .
. . taking three readings, with a fearless open mind, knowing where each of them comes from, seeing where they cross, then seeing what resonates for you.

Wisdom is . .
. . getting the whole story.

Wisdom is . .
. . keeping your mouth shut, even when you think you are right, knowing that by being right in that instance everything could come out wrong.

Wisdom is . .
. . the fulcrum between two counterbalancing extremes, leavened by humor.

Wisdom is . .
. . knowing when to hold them and when to fold them.

Wisdom is . .
. . working with Nature, and not against Her, reaching up to God, and continually expanding your mind until you are free.

Wisdom is . .
. . King Solomon.

Wisdom is . .
. . quite rare.

Wisdom is . .
. . the true objective of real education.

Wisdom is . .
. . required for humanity to survive.
