THE DAY I LOST MY MIND
Like a car wreck moving slow
The birds,
the bees,
the muscley breeze
All took me in their tow.
|
The sidewalk tar,
The passing car,
The crippling chirps above . .
|
How could I know
What breaks still grows
What God hath wrought
He knows.
|
The place I was
The Devil does
From track He smacked a shove
To get me where
I'd chance to share
The blessings of His love.
