A LEGEND WALKED AMONGST US HERE

A legend walked amongst us here
We who know walked in his sphere
He walked on and left us here
He lives through us, that much is clear.

Just what he did, or how he changed
  The molecules all rearranged
All that there was now exchanged
Like God above had it arranged.

Who was I then, who am I now
Since he sent a glance beneath his brow
He lives in me, I feel him now
I know the when, but not the how.

I was but one he chose to bless
From where I stood there was no less
I was the one that he must bless
To bless me with his god's carress.

I felt my soul brush up with his
All that there was no longer is
What changed me through the force was his
I thank him now for all that 'tis.
