Involving an alternate Sun

That regularly cause extinction.

Cosmic scientists wish to show
What gives these missiles their birth.

They argue the Sun has a brother
Who makes a regular visit
Mostly travelling through Space Outer
To celestial trash a magnet.

When he returns to see his sibling
He tosses off meteor showers
Like some astronomical Quisling
Who allied with Axis Powers.

As we're thirteen million years
Into the next extinction cycle
Scientists have their fears
About the species survival.

Not just to see what'll happen
By fatherly duty I am bound
