Why, Tell Me Why, Would I Listen to You?
Why, tell me why, would I listen to you?|
You've splattered with blood your alabaster
Why would I ever do the things you do?
Your way brings misery and disaster
If it's bad you're sure to be doing it
Bad powers your molecules and your cells
Instead of saliva you spray snake spit
Your shower of love is military shells
Your animus to me remains stunning
Though I study, dissect, and deconstruct
Are you the Devil, or is it cunning
How could a sentient being so destruct?
Like with the witch of Hansel and Gretel
I think it best to keep my own counsel.
