Of Course They Would

The show "Gods and Goddesses" airing on the History Channel December 23, 2004 proclaims the men of ancient Greece to be misogynistic, as labelled by a male professor of history. It seems the naughty boys of 500 to 400 B.C., when they would get together at the baths and et cetera would diss the chicks.

To them the man provided while the woman lived off his provisions, hounding him on his back at all times.

Of course he would see things this way, that is how they essentially were (from his viewpoint). He was free to share his feelings on the topic in those days, so of course he would speak freely of the truth of his experience.

Of course the appeasing male professor of today, desperate to keep his university position in a correctized world, would call him a misogynist, rather than just a man speaking his truth.

Today the man provides for her, and is constantly henpecked by her, but he's not allowed to talk about it.
